Mickelopteris cordata (Heart Fern)

This fern is characterized by its heart-shaped leaves, covered with numerous dark hairs, the leaves rest on long brown-black petioles. In its habitat, in south-east Asia, it grows epiphytic.
Keep the soil slightly moist and place it in a location with the highest possible humidity and bright, indirect light. The substrate should have good water permeability, waterlogging is not tolerated. Morning or evening sun is only appropriate if the air humidity is high enough, it should generally be avoided in summer. Humid environments or terrariums are therefore the most suitable for the care of this plant.
